Childrens Learning Center

Because of intense discrimination and no access to education, Musahar children are often left to start working at 4-5 years of age. We provide a simple education that gives the basics needed so they don’t fall behind and give up. This school is near the village where our women’s literacy classes are, so we will be able to use one building for both of these outreaches. Our community group in this area is the first one ever established in this village and through our holistic, non-discriminatory access, we are showing a new way. Spiritual, mental, and physical care. We are currently renting a building but have acquired land. We have a plan to build a building in this village for an orphanage, school room, and a community meeting room. The land/building is currently funded at about 35% of the $82,000 needed.
